Last Waltz Productions is an emerging production company formed by an ensemble of 2023 Nation Institute of Dramatic Arts acting graduates and Romanian director and actor Clara Voda. Our group met at NIDA in 2021, working together on plays such as Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters and a stage adaptation of Thomas Vinterburg’s Festen. All motivated by a shared belief in the importance of accessiblity, community, and universality in theatre, we formed Last Waltz Productions in 2024. 

Born out of a love for simple, truthful, and gutsy theatre, and deeply influenced by the Eastern European theatre practices carried by Voda, Last Waltz Productions seeks to bring new perspectives to the Sydney stage through adaptations, new works, and little known gems.
